2021 NFL Mock Draft

2021 Final Mock Draft

1 Jags Trevor Lawrence QB

The second greatest college QB prospect I ever watched behind only Andrew Luck. This was a no-brainer for the Jags once they secured this pick.

2 Jets Zack Wilson QB

Scouts fell in love with him at his pro day and I myself have been on his hype train going back to the summer. An easy pick for the Jets to find their franchise QB. If I had to make a comparison it be a smaller version of Josh Allen. Wilson will take the league by storm.

3 Niners Trey Lance  QB

When the Niners traded up to the third pick I thought Justin Fields would be the guy. But it now is either down to Mac Jones or Lance. Vegas says it’s Lance so I’ll go with them on this one. Either way Kyle Shanahan gets a guy who he wants and develops into a franchise QB.

4 Falcons (potential trade) Kyle Pitts TE

NFL Draft officially starts here as rumors continue to happen that either the Falcons will take QB with this pick or trade down. Well, Kyle Pitts is too great of a player to pass up if the Falcons believe they can wait another year or more to get a QB to eventually replace Matt Ryan.

5 Bengals Ja’Marr Chase WR

Talent over need is the pick here. Joe Burrow wants Chase to be a Bengal and he will get his wish. Sewell should be the pick here but Chase is a solid consolation prize being the best WR in this class.

6 Dolphins Penei Sewell OT

Maybe the best offensive line prospect I have ever seen and if he came out of college next year he would 100% be the first overall pick. Dolphins get Sewell to protect Tua Tagovailoa blindside for years to come.

7 Lions (potential trade) Jaylen Waddle WR

With the loss of Marvin Jones Jr. and Kenny Golladay to free agency the lions are thin at WR for new QB Jared Goff. Waddle can help fix that problem and let’s not forget how much of an impact player he was at Alabama before his injury Waddle big time and will make Lions fans forget Golladay in no time.

8 Panthers Jaycee Horn CB

Scouts are very high on Horn and the Panthers are looking to still strength their defensive backs group. I prefer Patrick Surtain II but Horn is still a stud.

9 Broncos Micah Parsons LB

Best linebacker in the draft class and a top-five overall prospect for me. Parsons has All-Pro potential in his career and after trading for Bridgewater and the 49ers taking Lance going with Parsons is a home run pick for new GM George Paton.

10 Cowboys Patrick Surtain II CB

One of my top five prospects in the entire draft class Surtain is a CB1 who can lockdown anyone he faces. Dropping to 10 means a homerun selection for the Cowboys and Jerry Jones.

11 Giants Kwity Paye Edge

With Waddle off the board Giants have enough depth at WR to pass on chosing one with this pick. They could use an edge rusher but with the other talent on the board I’m not sure Giants fans will like this pick though.

12 Eagles DeVonta Smith WR

Eagles need playmakers on offense and a Heisman Trophy winner helps out with that from day one . Smith and a healthy Reagor could cause nightmares for opposing defensive coordinators.

13 Chargers Rashawn Slater OL

It’s not Sewell but Slater is still the second best linemen of this draft class and can help beef up the Chargers oline to protect Justin Herbert and the Chargers have been linked to him. I don’t see anyone taking Slater before this pick so the Chargers are in a great position here

14 Vikings  Christian Darrisaw  OL

If the Vikings do not go offensive line here they’re making a big mistake. They have to protect Kirk Cousins and tackle is a need and they could also beef up at guard as well.

15 Patriots Justin Fields QB

They may have to trade up to get him but Fields to New England seems destined to happen especially with the trades the Panthers and Broncos have made. But that is the fun and unpredictability of the NFL Draft.

16 Cardinals Caleb Farley CB

Patrick Peterson is gone and now the Cardinals need a cornerback. Farley despite the injury is worth the risk of taking at 16 knowing he is a top 10 talent and can be an impact player in the secondary for the Cardinals.

17 Raiders Alijah Vera- Tucker  T/G

Raiders need some oline help after doing a full reconstruction in the offseason. Vera-Tucker’s versatility to play both guard and tackle potentially and the Raiders scheme makes this a good pick at 17.

18 Dolphins (potential trade) Jalen Phillips Edge

Dolphins need an edge rusher and really Phillips is the best edge rusher on the board at this pick but even then it would not shock me if the Dolphins traded back.

19 Washington Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah LB

Washington is looking to upgrade at linebacker and Owusu-Koramoah versatility and ability to cover make this a home run pick for Washington making that front 7 even more lethal.

20 Bears Mac Jones QB

Andy Dalton is not the future in Chicago but maybe Mac Jones can be? Chicago gets a gift with Jones falling right to them but I don’t see a fit for Jones elsewhere in round 1 outside of Chicago.

21  Colts Azeez Ojuari Edge

Colts could use some pass-rushing help on their line. Ojuari has the potential to be a good DE in the NFL would be a good value pick here at 21.

22 Titans Elijah Moore WR

Titans lost Corey Davis and Adam Humphries in free agency. Moore went to Ole Miss just like star WR AJ Brown and those two would be a great duo together with Derrick Henry already running the ball.

23 Jets Teven Jenkins OL

Tough call here on who the jets take with this pick but it seems like putting him at RT having their tackles of the future is the path to success. Could also see RB or edge be this pick.

24 Steelers Najee Harris RB

Some scouts have compared Harris to Derrick Henry but either way, the Steelers need a run game and drafting Harris could finally add the missing piece to that offense that was lacking last year.

25 Jags Gregory Rousseau Edge

Another tough pick that could anywhere but what way to beef up your dine then taking the best edge player on the board at this pick in Rousseau but again this pick is a toss-up being later in the first round.

26 Browns Christian Barmore DT

Big fan of Barmore and what he can bring to the NFL and the Browns could use some interior help to go along with Myles Garrett. This is a pick I can’t wait to see what happens.

27 Ravens Trevon Moehrig S

The void left by Earl Thomas needs to be replaced. The Ravens have a history of taking defensive players in the first round I believe that trend continues taking who I believe is a top 10 prospect at 27.

28 Saints Greg Newsome II CB

Saints are in need of corner depth and I could always see Farley falling in the draft because of his injury concerns. The Saints will settle for Newsome II though at this pick which isn’t a bad consultation prize whatsoever.

29 Packers Zaven Collins LB

Packers should 100% go defense with this pick and fix the one side of the ball that caused issues last year. Collin’s versatility ability to pursue from sideline to sideline can help the Packers out on stopping the run and limiting big plays on defense.

30 Bills Asante Samuel Jr.  CB

Steal of the draft right here taking a shutdown corner at pick 30 and well there’s familiarity here with coach Sean McDermott coaching his dad in Philly. Tre’Davious White and Samuel Jr.? Sign me up for this duo!

31 Ravens Rondale Moore WR

Finally, the Ravens address their need at WR. They already have speed in Marquise Brown and now they get some size in Moore. This pick is needed for the Ravens.

32 Bucs DL Levi Onwuzurike DL

Bucs brought all their starters on their Super Bowl-winning team so this would be a depth pick and they could always use some depth on their dline and be a run stuffer.
